Event Details

September 30 is Orange Shirt Day in honour of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in Canada. On this day, the University of Calgary recognizes and raises awareness about the residential school system in Canada, bringing people together in the spirit of reconciliation and honouring the experiences of Indigenous peoples.

In honour of National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, we are pleased to offer the following tours:

New Exhibitions at Nickle Galleries

-Adrian Stimson: ANTHRO-OBSCENE, Marina Fischer
-Prairie Interlace: Weaving, Modernisms and the Expanded Frame, Michele Hardy

Library and Cultural Resources’ Indigenous art collection in the TFDL, Christine Sowiak
