Strathcona regiment’s storied history on display with opening of Munnings exhibition, Calgary Herald
Munnings – The War Years will be open to the public from Sept. 18 to Dec. 6, hosted by the University of Calgary. The travelling exhibition features dozens of works by the artist, borrowed from the Canadian War Museum’s Beaverbrook Collection of War Art in Ottawa. Artifacts borrowed from the Strathcona armoured regiment sit alongside the works, giving additional local context to the collection.
