Made in Calgary is a five-part exhibition series organized by Calgary’s Glenbow that has explored the character of Calgary’s artistic community from 1960 to 2010. Each exhibition reflects the work of a single decade, and Nickle Galleries is proud to be a community partner with Glenbow for the fifth and final installment of the series, The 2000s. Curator Katherine Ylitalo offers a sweeping view of contemporary art in the city, including 83 artists across two galleries – reflecting the energy of connections and cross currents always at play in Calgary.
