Event Details

Libraries and Cultural Resources recently acquired an important collection of art by Treaty 7 artists–many of whom have a significant relationship with the University of Calgary. Installed on each floor of the Taylor Family Digital Library they enhance awareness of the Indigenous peoples of Treaty 7, celebrating their creativity and resilience.

Join Kaia MacLeod for an intimate tour of the collection. MacLeod is a member of the James Smith Cree Nation and is the University of Calgary’s Indigenous Cataloguing Librarian. She received her MLIS from the University of Alberta, as well as a BA majoring in Film Studies.

Meet at the entrance to Nickle Galleries.
